Crayons to Classrooms
Supporting local teachers and students, James Investment team members volunteered time at Crayons to Classroom. It is their mission to secure and distribute school supplies at no cost to teachers of students in need.

The Entrepreneurs' Center in downtown Dayton provides new businesses with operational guidance, planning, connections, mentoring and more.
Dayton Early College Academy
DECA is an open-enrollment, high-performing public charter school serving 1,300 K-12 students who live in Dayton's most underserved communities.
Shoes 4 the Shoeless
The Shoes 4 the Shoeless organization has donated hundreds of thousands of socks and shoes to children in the Dayton area. The shoes and socks offer hope and comfort to local children in desperate need.
Angels for Anna
Angels for Anna assists children with special needs by organizing giveaways and events throughout the Dayton area.
MAV Youth Mentoring
MAV Youth Mentoring creates meaningful matches between adults and children to develop positive, lasting relationships.
For Love of Children
For Love of Children’s mission is to serve over 6,000 children in the greater Dayton area who are neglected, abused, in foster care or need community resources.
Dayton Humane Society
The Dayton Humane Society has been saving and supporting animals for nearly 120 years!
United Senior Services
United Senior Services provides aging adults with more than 30 programs and services for nearly 5,000 members and another 3,000 clients each year!
Living With Lymphedema
Most patients with Lymphedema must wear pressure garments not typically covered by insurance. Living with Lymphedema raises funds for local cancer patients who cannot afford these garments.
CHOICES
Children Have Options In Caring Environments (CHOICES) is a non-profit that has been bringing change to Dayton families since 1986. They provide families with personalized services and build safe environments for youth.
Food For The Journey Project
The Food For The Journey Project serves free, hot, nutritious meals to those in need in the Dayton community. They offer food and dignity to families, the elderly, the isolated and the marginalized.
Miami Valley Veterans Museum
The Miami Valley Veterans Museum is a non-profit providing a repository to raise awareness of the contributions of those that have served our country. Museum exhibits reflect time periods from 1745 to the present day. The collection includes uniforms and personal effects used by veterans.
Beavercreek Wetlands
The Beavercreek Wetland Association is a non-profit working to protect and restore wetlands and other natural areas in the Beavercreek watershed in Greene County, Ohio. This donation will go toward their Spotted Turtle Trail, a seven-phase project.
Preschool Promise
Preschool Promise is a non-profit organization funded by Montgomery County, the City of Dayton and local philanthropists to help young children prepare for Kindergarten.
Disciples of Destiny
Disciples of Destiny, in Dayton, Ohio, assists adolescents who are emancipated from the state foster care system and have NO family support. The primary outreach of care includes housing, job and career coaching, food, clothing and social service referrals.
The Foodbank
For 40 years, the Foodbank in Dayton has been the primary supplier of hunger relief in Montgomery, Greene and Preble counties.
Rustic Hope
At Rustic Hope in Russia, Ohio, this Christ-centered non-profit offers free support to single mothers before, during and after delivery.
House of Bread
The House of Bread in Dayton serves hot meals 365 days a year and, on average, 300 meals daily!

United Rehabilitation Services
James Investment team members spent time with the students of United Rehabilitation Services. Since 1956, URS efforts have focused on increasing skills, enhancing functional abilities, and maximizing the level of independence of those they serve.
Food For The Journey Project
James team members worked alongside the Food For The Journey Project to turn compassion into action and action into hope for hungry families in the Dayton community.
The Foodbank
The Foodbank provides services through more than 130 feeding programs in the Miami Valley, bringing comfort and hope to hungry families. James employees were happy to help assemble emergency food boxes for those in need.
Shoes 4 the Shoeless
The Shoes 4 the Shoeless organization has donated hundreds of thousands of socks and shoes to children in the Dayton area. This organization is a favorite for several James Investment employees who took part in the Race to Christmas giveaway.
4 Paws for Ability
What a fun way to serve our community! James team members spent time assisting with a service project and learning about the intuitive service dogs that train at 4 Paws For Ability.
Little Miami River Cleanup
At James we’ve been investing in our community since 1972. The Little Miami Watershed Network has pulled 26,200 pounds of trash from the river in 11 years!
Tornado Cleanup
Several members of our organization pitched in to help rebuild the community after the devastating tornadoes in 2019.
Sponsorship & Monetary Donations
So many local organizations rely on company sponsorships for funding. James Investment actively participates in providing corporate sponsorships and funding to groups in need.
Leadership
Several members of the James team proudly serve as board members for philanthropic organizations. Speaking engagements, charitable start-ups and active participation are all common activities. The leadership qualities of our employees extend into our community.
Care During COVID-19
While frontline workers were under the stress and strain of caring for their patients, James Investment provided boxed lunches for several area hospitals. Many employees continued to take on additional initiatives to assist during the crisis.
